Okay, it may not be that surprising of a fact since rumors about it surfaced on the web last week, but the BlackBerry Style 9670 is now officially bound to join Boost Mobile's lineup of contract-free smartphones. Starting July 20, the Style 9670 will be available for purchase at a price of $200, and a fitting BlackBerry Monthly Unlimited plan will set you back another $60 per month. The Style 9670 is not your traditional BlackBerry smartphone, at least not when it comes to its form factor, as it boasts a clamshell design reminiscent to that of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip. However, what you will find as soon as you flip open the Style 9670 is a full QWERTY keyboard just like the ones that RIM's top of the line smartphones are equipped with. Besides that, the handset packs a main non-touchscreen display with a resolution of 360 by 400 pixels and a smaller secondary screen standing at 320 by 240 pixels. The BlackBerry Style 9670 also features a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, optical trackpad, and the whole show is ran by the BlackBerry 6 operating system. Those of you who are interested in getting their hands on the BlackBerry Style 9670 can either check it out in exactly a week's time over at a Boost Mobile retail store or on the carrier's official web page.source: Sprint
