Samsung shows its concept of flexible displays in the future

There is a fierce rivalry between Samsung and LG as both companies are trying to be the first one to bring devices with flexible displays to market, and while right now it seems that LG has got the upper hand, Samsung has released a dreamy concept video about how the future world of bendable screens and wearable devices will look like.The concept video shows a device with a flexible screen that you can fold and unfold. Its interface changes with that adapting to the new form.

The video is also about the modern face of healthcare and the possibility to send your health data wirelessly directly to your doctor instead of visiting him. That could happen via painless patch sensors with arrayed antennas. This sensor would read the biological data of your body and tell you whether or not you need to visit your doctor.

Samsung strategy head Young Sohn showed the dreamy concept video at VentureBeat’s MobileBeat conference in San Francisco. As good as it all looks, we hope to see more real-world devices rather than imaginary concepts soon. Fingers crossed.
