The Fitbit Versa primarily stands out with a sleek design (available in all-black, peach/rose gold, and gray/silver colors), although on the inside, the Versa and Ionic are extremely similar. That being said, you should keep in mind the cheaper smartwatch comes without built-in GPS connectivity.
